I've been hearing great things about this place for quite some time, and I finally had the chance to visit... and it certainly lived up to the hype. If you're in search of a fancy sit-down restaurant, this isn't the spot for you. However, if you're craving a classic old-fashioned drink and a delicious fish fry, this is definitely the place to go! It's a bit unique compared to typical restaurants, as you place your order before being seated, and they only accept cash. The service and food were outstanding! Food rating: 5/5.

We arrived shortly after the restaurant opened on a Friday and were seated immediately. The food was mediocre. The clam chowder was quite good, but the fish was just average—I've definitely had better. Overall, we were very disappointed, especially after seeing all the positive reviews. Whenever I'm in town, I always enjoy the classic Milwaukee Friday Fish Fry here, paired perfectly with a Wisconsin-style brandy old fashioned. The atmosphere is lively and filled with locals, making it a fun place to be. I suggest arriving by 4 PM to secure a table or a spot at the bar. I've made new friends every time I've visited.
