Quick service, reasonable prices, and better-than-average bar food along with a solid beer selection. It’s a fantastic spot to relax with friends, free from any pretentious bar scene. The older building in an unconventional location adds to its appeal. My only complaint is the small bathroom, but it somehow contributes to the overall charm of the place.

I'm from the city, and while on a trip for a beer and a burger, I found the decor to be lively and bustling, creating a fun atmosphere. The prices were reasonable, and the burgers were quite good. However, I did notice that the staff wasn't particularly friendly; four other patrons nearby commented on this as well. On the bright side, the cook was nice and clearly knows how to handle the grill well.

Dagwood's is a Lansing icon for burgers and fries. The burgers are all delicious and served perfectly cooked quickly. The chili is the best in the city and the bean soup has to be the best in the state. The fries and onion rings are perfect and always a must have. I have been going to Dagwoods for over 40 years and I have never been disappointed.

My go to bar of Choice. It's a small places and that's definitely part of the atmosphere here but it can be really challenging to get seating for more than 4 people. I don't recommend any large group come here as their just isn't many places for a large group to sit together when it's busy As of late they are always out of fried pickles but this isn't their fault.
