Lantzville Village Pub

After hearing excellent reviews, we decided to give this restaurant a try. The service was fantastic, but the food fell short. We were told that everything on the menu was fresh and made to order, but the wings were large pieces and not as fresh as we had hoped - they seemed to be previously frozen. The burger was also disappointing, as it seemed to be too much bread and not freshly made. However, the salad dressing was very tasty. The chowder had carrots that were too big and had the skin on, which was not appetizing.

On Sunday, March 26th, we attempted to go to lunch at this restaurant but experienced incredibly slow service. After waiting for a long time, we finally got our drinks but continued to wait for our food. The server took the order of customers next to us who arrived after us, which made us feel ignored. We finished our drinks and left as it seemed like the staff did not care about our experience. The bartender appeared to be more focused on drinking rather than serving customers, and the young server seemed inexperienced and slow in taking orders. We ended up leaving hungry and finding another place for lunch, which turned out to be a much better experience.

We went to lunch today. the mussel cahowder was homemade and tasty, my wife had the chicken salad. didn't like them to charge them extra for a little more sauce! I had the calamari that was kind of a wound, but tasted ok. the drinks were... presumably expensive. not bad for a small place, probably more beautiful in summer when they can sit outside.

Lunch break. The Fish Tacos are great! Pandemic protocols all well in place. The service (Erin) excellent. All the staff are great. It's a good spot for lunch.

Love this place the interior is beautiful, great outside tables on the front porch and patio, absolutely stunning views from inside and out. Staff are very friendly and service is great. Lots to choose from on the menu and food comes quickly and is...wonderful.
