Feedback gevenThis is a wonderful place to order a cake. They made my wedding cake 31 years ago, and now I'm getting a baby shower cake for my soon-to-arrive grandson. Their baked goods are delicious, and the staff is incredibly friendly.
I'll go for any occasion. The fig cookies are fantastic as well. I highly recommend trying the Russian cake when it's available!
They are not professional! The place is not clean! They are rude!!! Are expensive but don’t do what you are expecting for ???? terrible. I paid almost $300 for a small cake one year old and she did a messy cake
I've heard good things about them, so I drove 45 minutes out of my way to stop by today. I pulled the door handle and they were closed. I was a little disappointed that I didn't check their hours, but as I turned to go back to my car, the lady behind the counter screams We're closed!! The look on her face made me feel as if I was trying to break into her business. I called the number and told her that this is not the way to get customers. She screamed at me again, Well, I am closed! She didn't have to say anything at all, I was turning to walk to my car, realizing that I should have looked up their hours. Now, I won't be back.
To make matters worse, the cakes don’t come in boxes! How can you claim to be a professional bakery without proper packaging for your cakes? My sister felt compelled to pay the remaining balance, bless her heart, but it was a hard lesson learned. We will never recommend this bakery or return for another purchase. There was no accountability from the owner or decorator—only excuses and blame, as if we hadn’t clearly communicated our desires. No apology or effort to negotiate a solution was offered. If the owner couldn’t fulfill the order as requested, she should have simply declined it. The icing on the cake had bald spots—seriously! Stars may shine in the sky, but they shouldn’t be seen rising out of a cake. It looked like a failed experiment. While the owner/decorator did try to add some pink to the top tier on the spot, the cake still turned out poorly. A word to the owner: If you make a mistake, own it, learn from it, take the loss, and strive to do better next time. We genuinely want to support small businesses, but this experience was just unacceptable.
