This is my second time here and at both times came in near closing time, around 9pm. Like other reviews, the service was not as fast as one would think seeing that there's only one other table occupied and they already have their food. While it was slow, it wasn't so bad. But I think their food was a winner. Their gambas was quite nice. The spices really came through and cut through the oil. The oil was supposedly olive oil but not so sure it was. Their lechon wasn't as warm as I wanted it to be, but at least it wasn't cold. Even that late in the evening, it was still moist and the skin crispylicious! Really enjoyed my dinner!
The place is okay. Not really big, and easily gets a lot of customers inn. Have access for PWD. The food is great. We had the squid with pork filling, I don’t know what it’s called, but that’s one of my favourites in Zubuchon. We also had pakbet and the baked scallops that has more cheese than meat on the shell. But it really tastes good! Their squash soup is not as thick as it should be though. Taste is okay. Money’s worth is 4/5. And by the way, their lechon is available starting 11am only. They open 10am. So if you go there early for the lechon, get ready to wait for like 1 to 2 hours. They still cook it a a walking distance, which is outside their pasalubong center.
Good place for lechon belly dish. We found out the quality is nice and not too expensive. Portions are a little bit small but it's probably better as this dish is quite fat as expected.
The mongo and pakbet are really good. Sizzling sisig and the lechon especially the spicy is great.
