Beverages: Had a fantastic meal while hiking the Wicklow Way. Big salad, chicken wing, stew, cheese, wine, beer. Fun atmosphere too.

We came to dinner at the Jakes Bar in Lynhams. We received a very warm welcome and sat beside a lawn fire, which was very welcome in a cold night. We had a duck spring roller special starter that was full of duck and very tasty. Then we both had the St. Kevin's Burger with frits and extra serving onion rings and some pepper sauce. Portion sizes were large, this was matched by the taste, as the food was very delicious. We were several times before and impressed each time with food and service. Beautiful interior and great place for tourists and locals alike. This time of the year the Christmas lights are up in the village and look absolutely beautiful, but did not seem to work last night in Lynhams. We'll be back soon.
