Danny's - Laredo

I absolutely adore this restaurant! The enchilada lunch special is an incredible deal right now, and it's so delicious.

I really love Danny's! The portion of Caldo de Pollo is a bit small, but the flavor is definitely there.

The food is quite good for the area. However, the service could be improved due to communication issues. Overall, it's a nice place to dine.

Came to Danny's based on star review status but turns out to be very deceiving. On my 1st trip, my family and I dined in. The atmosphere is basic Mexican style which is expected. Service was very very slow. And the food is mediocre at best. Fairly tasteless with over heated tortillas.I tried Danny's again the following day for breakfast tacos and came through the drive thru this time around.Again my family and I were very disappointed in the quality of food and slow service. We will avoid Danny's in the future.Note I am from San Antonio were there are many Mexican restaurants available, so Danny's doesn't compare to a quality Mexican restaurant at this time.Maybe this is the best Mexican restraunt for it's neighborhood and could explain the rating but if you know, you know.
