Feedback gevenThe broccoli beef dish should really be called "broccoli only." I was fortunate to find just three pieces of beef in my takeout box. Additionally, when we visited the restaurant on Sunday around 6:30 pm, they were out of several entrees, including the Beijing beef that I really wanted. This review is for the location on International and Loop 20.
I didn't know what to expect and I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the family meal with chow mein, fried rice, broccoli beef, honey shrimp and orange chicken. All ingredients were fresh and tasted great. We fed a family of 4. Thanks to Ronaldo for excellent service. Will definitely return. Great job Panda!!
I got the one éntre meal ... Chose the orange chicken with half rice , half chow mein ... .. it is a good enough portion to fill you up ... Would be better if they added a bit more meat ... Though ... I think they should include the fountain drink with the meal ... And not be so STINGY ...
Delicious Chinese-American fast food! A meal, costing around $10 with a soda, is quite filling. The restaurant itself is attractive and comfortable for dining in. Customer service could use some improvement. Overall, I would rate it 4 out of 5 stars.
As the employee was closing the window, she remarked loud enough for me to hear, “WOW!!! NOT EVEN 49 CENTS!!!” I was taken aback and asked, “Excuse me? Is there a problem? Is donating mandatory?” I decided to call a manager to explain what had happened. I was mainly disappointed by the unprofessionalism and the self-righteous attitude of the employee, which can really turn customers away. The manager was understanding and apologetic, mentioning that he would address the issue in a meeting, as this wasn’t the first time such an incident occurred. Today, feeling uncomfortable returning to the drive-thru, I went inside the restaurant instead. One of the servers treated me kindly, and as I filled up my fountain drink, I noticed three employees whispering and looking at me, with one pointing. I immediately recognized one of them as the employee who had been present during my drive-thru encounter, and I tried to avoid her. Feeling uneasy, I asked, “Is there a problem?” They seemed surprised, blushed, and quickly moved away. One of them responded, “No sir, there’s no problem.” Afterwards, I decided to speak to the manager to let her know about my ongoing concerns. She was already familiar with who I was but didn’t offer an apology. Instead, she defended the behavior of her staff, saying, “Our employees are trained to be vigilant and aware of everyone. You can’t know if they were talking about you.” Regarding the donations, she stated, “It’s their job. They are just doing their job.” This response from the manager only enabled the disrespectful behavior of the employees. When staff are not held accountable, they feel empowered to treat customers poorly. There is a clear lack of professionalism at this restaurant, and I believe some retraining is necessary so that employees don’t find themselves in socially unaware situations. Until these issues are addressed, I cannot recommend this restaurant.
