Joella's Hot Chicken - Largo

The experience was terrible. The breading on the dish was extremely hard and overly salty. I'm grateful I requested the sauce on the side, as it was incredibly greasy. The green beans were too heavily seasoned. On the positive side, the lemonade was delicious and the banana pudding was enjoyable. Overall, it was disappointing and not worth the $19.00 spent.

Chris and Bill provided excellent service. They were patient and helpful when our app was not working correctly, ensuring our order was taken smoothly. My husband and I both ordered chicken meals with varying levels of spiciness. We also ordered fries and collard greens as our sides, both of which were delicious. The fries were lightly seasoned and not greasy, while the collard greens had a deep smoky flavor. The highlight of the meal was the chicken, which was well-prepared and better than other fast food chicken restaurants. The chicken was clean, moist, and tender, with a variety of dipping sauces available for an additional charge. I also enjoyed a free birthday special through the app, choosing the Strawberry Shortcake in a jar for dessert. It was a perfect ending to a satisfying meal.

Average. sandwich was not hot or very meaty (a lot of breading), seemed like it had been sitting around prior to being in my sandwich. cold slaw was vinegar style, ok.

Had the fire in the hole 3 piece tenders two separate times. First time it was loaded with the dry rub and I was on fire. Second time, it was lighter on the dry rub seasoning and easier to handle. The heat is a late hitting heat so be aware. The chicken was tender and slightly dry but still good and delicious (it's white meat and expected). I will be back to try their other offerings and would recommend a try.

The food at this restaurant is absolutely amazing! I highly recommend it, with a rating of 10/10. The food is fresh and the staff are fantastic. The grilled chicken was flavorful and juicy, and the Mac and Cheese was fantastic. My family ordered the fried chicken and loved it too. Each meal comes with a side of dipping sauce of your choice, which is a great touch. In my opinion, this restaurant is on par, if not better, than the Raising Canes franchise. It is definitely a must-try!
