Super delicious food and presented beautifully. Lamb was perfect Whole dinning experience relaxed but efficient 5 experience on everything

We were disappointed on a previous visit to this place but decided to give it a second chance. I'm glad we did as the service has greatly improved and the food was thoughtfully presented with nice flavours. The only negative was the wooded chairs which consisted of wooden slats with small gaps between. Most uncomfortable seats ever, maybe some padding with help.

A lovely place food good but charging £1 each for cranberry sauce and horseradish beggars belief

Visited the Dairy for a late lunch, weather was rubbish but the welcome was warm. I had the lamb shoulder which was beautiful, well presented and delicious. My wife had the chicken wrap which she loved. Maud's ice-cream (local brand) and waffle with a lovely coffee. The staff are lovely and a credit to the establishment.

Sunday lunch but not what I expected in terms of flavour, quality or service. Order taken 15 mins after sitting down .We waited another 40-45 mins before the food arrived . My meal of lamb was look warn, looked as if it had been sitting a while as there was a crust on the mash and sauce had a top on it. My friends fish was overcooked, in a greasy batter with soggy chips. We waited for the waitress to come back to ask if all ok, in the end my friend took her fish back to the counter. The replacement was 5 mins coming back with no side of sauce and peas /lemon and not even an apology or a new knife and fork. So why did it take 40mins in the first place? Again no one came to ask if it was ok . I was never asked for a comment. My lamb was soft if flavorless , the mash was smooth but tasteless , not sure where the pesto was . The greens were two tiny bits of tender stem broccoli. Not sure what the purpose of the pomegranate seeds were in the pea velouté as there were no middle eastern vibes here. We got up and went o pay to be greeted with a smirking waitress who didn 't even ask How was your meal ? Wont be back. Service was dreadful . Food not very inspiring or cooked well.. Outside marquee was leaking and we tried several chairs to find a dry one. We were offered a blanket which was good and needed.
