Sushi Freak (telshor) - Las Cruces

Two thumbs up! We were looking for a quick dinner as we drove through Las Cruces. They fixed us a rock star roll and a Philadelphia roll. It was quick and tasty. I’m going back next time we’re in Cruces.

Employees are very rude, seems like they are all under the influence of cannabis, if you ask me, as the stench walking in to the establishment tells especially during closing hours. Extremely unprofessional. Especially for the price customers are paying it’s very frustrating to see such disrespectful impatient staff who are hardly there, and are too busy taking hits of their smoke pen behind the counter to make orders correctly! Ridiculous and so Embarrassing

Service was great and place was very clean, Sushi was tasty but seemed quite overpriced. Maybe it's just the way things are in 2023, but I felt like one specialty roll and Miso soup shouldn't cost $20 for food that comes in paper/clear plastic containers.

Afternoon team isn't friendly like the morning team. There was a hair from the read haired girl in the food then we noticed it was all on hanging over her face. Then they gave us a broken lid we didn't use. Sorry but no. I think we'll go to the other location or mornings only.

I ordered the build-your-own poke bowl, and my friend and I agreed that while it's not authentic, it's quite delicious in its own way. It's not what you'd find in Japan or Hawaii, but it's fresh and flavorful! In fact, it's definitely better than most poke places in New Mexico. I would recommend this spot and will be returning myself. The customer service was good, too. The ability to customize your bowl makes it a great choice for anyone in your group with dietary restrictions, as you can easily create vegan or gluten-free options. The bowls are generously packed and very filling! Currently, this location accepts both card and cash, and they only offer to-go or curbside service at this time.
