A red wine to accompany with some lovely bread and olive oil. It’s so good, we came back 2 nights later It’s a small wholesaler with a few barrel tables stools, perfect for an authentic Spanish snack. We were the only non Spanish in here, always a good sign. Daniel was so helpful and friendly, thank you!!
We asked to try a bit of everything and they gave us a great selection of Spanish ham and other meat products, cheese and wines. It cost us 75 Euros which was quite reasonable because we ate a lot. The staff was really friendly and overall it was a great culinary experience.
This is a basic local place whose main business is selling jamon to locals and businesses. It is a small tiled shop that feels not dissimilar to a UK butcher but with racks of jamon legs hanging all around and they have three large barrel tables at which you can stand and eat your jamon baguette or half baguette. Apparently the jamon is really very good indeed and on one occasion the guy offered me a slice of (very good sheep's cheese to try, but it doesn't seem generally on offer to buy as a baguette although that could be down to my terrible Spanish. The drink they offer is a chilled red wine (i.e. no white or fino etc. which is fine. It is exceptionally cheap 3 Euros for two small wines and a half baguette. I probably wouldn't make a special trip there for a snack, but if you're in the marina side of town then definitely give it a go.
