Sakura Iv - Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

Came here since everything else was closed. Very unfriendly owner while we saw he acted friendly to a few regulars. We had to wait long for sushi which was mostly rice and almost no toppings see photo). Warm dishes were cold or in in one case slightly frozen inside. The shrimps were in a gloopy sauce also see photo). An hour later and I have stomach cramps, which is the first time I have ever had to write on Tripadvisor. I am sorry, but this was just plain awfull, even for 13 Euro

If you look for a good sushi restaurant in the central part of Las Palmas, Sakura might be something for you to try out. The sushi is excellent. Choose to eat buffet style like Yo 'Sushi (maby not as fancy looking as a glance but make no mistake it 's very good) or to eat from the menu. Perfect sized sushi pieces (Japanese style) with excellent rice. The tuna and salmon was lovely. If you 're into Sashimi you will find it good as well. In my opinion the slices were a bit too chunky and thick but some people love that too. The fish can 't get fresher. It 's probably caught somewhere near the island. Friendly staff.

I went there 3 days ago with two friends , we ate different things , some quite good some horrible and some stil frozen , like the salmon. The point isn't the medium low level of the food , for 12 Euros we didn't expect Gordon Ramsay in the kitchen.. The fact is that the 3 of us puked after. We got food poisoned . We were drinking water . Don't go

Un local bien cuidado, con un excelente servicio constante, cocineros a la vista, comida de calidad y muy bien ambientado. Para destacar me ha sorprendido de gran manera y positivamente la acción de traer varios platos pequeños (de 1 o 2 unidades) en una gran bandeja para así no tener que esperar entre platos. El sitio perfecto para un aficionado de la comida japonesa que busque un restaurante en relación calidad-precio. Muy recomendado.

Muy buen servicio, amables y disponibles para la mesa en todo momento. A pesar de ser un bufet la comida esta muy rica, sin sentirse de congelados ni nada, muy rico. Una gran experiencia. Recomendado.
