For our main dishes, we ordered the crispy grilled cheese and the roasted tomato pasta with sausage, along with a strawberry lemonade. The portions were surprisingly large, and we were too full for dessert. The roasted tomato sauce had a unique flavor, and the grilled cheese, although gooey, had a taste almost like a pizza with a sweet jam mixed in. But what we really came for was dessert, and it did not disappoint. We tried slices of carrot cake and ube macapuno cake. The carrot cake was moist and not too sweet, with a delicious cream cheese frosting that complemented the cake perfectly. The ube macapuno cake was a bit dense, but had a great ube flavor. I couldn't resist trying the overload toffee cookie, which was chewy and sweet with crisp edges. And as for the donuts, we took home their last 9 remaining ones – tres leches, strawberry cream, and milk chocolate. These premium donuts must be pre-ordered a day in advance, but they were definitely worth it. The texture was just right, not too greasy, and the size was perfect for satisfying our sweet cravings without feeling like we overindulged. These perfect donuts are definitely worth coming back for on lazy Sundays.
After several unsuccessful attempts, I was finally able to visit this restaurant. The staff was friendly, but parking was limited. The wait was worth it, as everything was excellent. I highly recommend trying their calamansi pesto pasta and famous donuts. The grilled honey bacon sandwich was also a hit. I will definitely be returning to try more of their dishes. Overall, great value for money.
I visited this place since a friend suggested it. It's actually a pretty chill place. They offer pasta for lunch and a few sandwiches as well. I opted for the Calamansi Basil pasta which actually turned out good. Now, I'm not really that big of a fan of oil based pasta, but this one was really good! And for the price of 240 Php, it's a generous amount. I chased that down with their Orange Freezer (orange juice) which is just ok. After having the pasta, I went to get a slice of Salted Chocolate Cake. Again, the serving was huge! And it didn't help that I already had a big serving of pasta prior. The cake itself is moist and the chocolate icing and filling is thick and divine. I paired this with their Flat White Coffee and everything was just perfect. So perfect that I even bought a half dozen of donuts to go.I'll definitely go back here to try their other pasta as well as their cakes. I WILL GO BACK FOR THE UBE CAKE!!!
We love to discover new places to eat and we saw Flour Jar nearby so we checked it out. The place is easy to find. The ambience is cozy, the price is just right and the food is just okay.
