In my opinion, it wasn't a very good quiche, so I would recommend steering clear of it. The service was standard and met our needs adequately. Overall, I would recommend this place, but just skip the quiche.
The food and service at Bardot were excellent. This restaurant offers a lovely European fine dining ambiance, featuring dark wood accents and dim lighting, which creates a charming yet somewhat noisy atmosphere. I enjoyed the Beet and Goat Cheese Arugula Salad, which was beautifully presented and delicious. The escargot were tender and generously seasoned with garlic, accompanied by slices of sourdough baguette. The Lamb Three Ways was a flavorful experience, consisting of a perfectly cooked lamb chop, a richly flavored lamb brisket, and a zesty cayenne-seasoned sausage served on a bed of savory beans. The prime rib was a scrumptious medium-rare, slow-cooked to perfection, paired with creamy, cheesy spinach and smooth mashed potatoes.
This place completely exceeded my expectations. While it's common to assume that fancy French restaurants serve small portions for their tasting menus, Bardot Brasserie pleasantly surprises you. We dined here for dinner after having two lunches earlier in the day, and we definitely regretted not saving room for this meal. The tasting menu was around $115 per person (I can't recall the exact price), and it included four courses along with delightful deviled eggs crowned with caviar for each guest. Every dish was exquisite, except for the artichokes since they're simply not to my taste. Be prepared for a delightful abundance, as each course came with two plates! For dessert, there was a meringue, but it was oddly solid—an interesting concept. Unfortunately, the Baked Alaska we were really looking forward to wasn't available.
Highly recommend the braised short ribs! They were absolutely amazing. So tender you didn?t need a knife to cut, delicious flavor, and the peas with bacon and potatoes complimented them perfectly. The macaroni and cheese is a must try. The onion soup was ok, but not the best. Do not recommend the pork chop.
Me and my friend went to Bardot to enjoy a fancy French dinner, and that was exactly what we got. The restaurant was beautiful, and the atmosphere was very relaxed. We had both gotten the French onion soup, the salmon, and mac n cheese for dinner. All of which was fantastic, but I would definitely recommend the mac n cheese, which was the best I have ever had. We also tried the creme brulee, which was delicious and amazing all at the same time. The service was also excellent and we had no bad things to say when we went. I would definitely recommend eating here if you have some money to spare, because it definitely isn?t cheap.
