Golden Steer Steak House - Las Vegas

This place was recommended by several of my friends and it exceeded expectations. The dinner for two was amazing and a value as well. My only concern was I had to take a 9:15 reservation even making it more than two months earlier but it worked out ok.

Pretty setting, old fashioned Vegas vibe and an authentic feel. The Caesar salad made table side was the highlight. Everything after that, was just ok. Besides being supremely over priced, the steak was just ok. For $235 steak and lobster tail combo, I expected to be blown away. I e had better steaks often and the lobster was just ok. Nothing special at all for all the hype and the ridiculous cost. Save your money on this one, there’s much better steaks out there.

The ambiance was so cool and the history made it a unique dining experience. The caesar salad was excellent! Our steaks were nicely cooked but a little underwhelming and the sides and appetizer were a real miss. However the service was amazing and fast the establishment itself was incredibly beautiful and unique.

I cannot wait to come back! Somehow, I got seated in Joe DiMaggio’s booth (sweetheart booth) and I got to stare directly at Marilyn’s as hers is right across. No one knew that I am a massive fan of Marilyn, so the stars aligned! Everyone must try this place!!!

Food was delicious. Filet was cooked to perfection and extremely tender, table side Caesar salad was incredible and the corn side dish paired well with the filet. Service was outstanding. Will definitely dine there again when we return to Vegas.
