Like many, I wanted to experience Chef Ramsay's famous Beef Wellington. At $84, I expected a memorable dish, and could not believe how entirely mediocre the quality was. The wellingtons arrived at our table around 12 minutes after ordering them which obviously means they were likely prepared before I even sat foot in the restaurant. The entrees were cold and the sparse vegetables and schmear of potato puree were wildly undercooked. The carrots and onions were raw. I expect my entree to be cooked to order and arrive piping hot, not cold to the touch. Seems they couldn't even find space under a heat lamp. We also ordered a side of asparagus that was also undercooked. We did notify our server of the disappointment and while he seemed nonplussed, did send a complimentary toffee pudding, which was fine but not enough to make us feel good about spending $500 on a poor meal. We also wanted to order wine by the glass, and were upsold to a bottle that was far more expensive that what we had originally planned to order and did not factor to be economical as he suggested. Clearly they are trained to upsell at every turn. This was the worst dining experience we had during our time. There are so many amazing steak houses in Vegas, I recommend others try another option.
Gordon, you may need to visit. Out of some beers, out of some wines. No alternative at same price offered. Feels like upsell. Also the half lobster appetizer was missing the arm, not a half lobster. The waiter was a bit rude or cocky. Bobby Flay Brasserie was better.
Hi. My first negative review of anything. I was truly shocked dining here. The service was ok but inattentive. As a server, if you walk by your table at the very least look over and make eye contact just in case they need something. I was very excited to try the NY strip steak as I have eaten at a lot of steak houses and was pumped about this one. I let the server know that I don’t eat dairy so no butter. I asked what kind of sides could you offer. He said everything has butter; which is to be expected. Typically, when I go to a steak house i order a baked potato. He said he could not make a baked potato. Lol. I said ok. Is there any carb at all you can offer. He said I can give you mac and cheese without the cheese. I said, OK how about you toss that pasta with some olive oil and garlic and that should be good. I ordered the New York strip medium. Food came out 40 minutes later which is fine it’s a little longer than usual but I was still excited ready to eat. The steak was absolutely shocking! $130 steak I swear to Christ tasted like it was from Walmart. Have you ever been to a steakhouse and ordered a $130 steak then you know that the steak is typically 2 inches thick and juicy. I kid you not this steak was probably 1/2 of an inch thick and had that “lunch meat” taste. It was salted but no crust. Just gray. Now, the pasta is the crazy part. They put the pasta in the mac cheese baking dish put olive oil and garlic in it and then put it in the oven and baked it like it was mac cheese! What happened to the pasta in this environment? It came out rockhard like you could bounce it off the table. I was completely utterly shocked by the quality of the food. Huge Ramsay fan. I thought this was my moment to experience his culinary excellence. What I got was quality less than a Chili’s experience. Dietary restrictions: Could not accommodate.
Food is great, flavors that just impress with every bite.
Nice atmosphere and food with prices to match as expected.
