L&l Hawaiian Barbecue - Las Vegas

My brother in law used L&L for catering food for our daughter's birthday party. The food was ok. I'm probably just used to places like Ono Hawaiian Barbecue, but everything worked out.Food: 4/5

Used to be great. The staff is there against their will and they will use that against you. We live next to this location for the past 6 years. Used to eat there frequently but lately quality has fallen steeply, sizes are smaller, prices have gone up and there just seems like the care is gone. They always forget utensils and napkins, but now they’re also forgetting to put condiments and parts of your food in the dish. Last order they forgot to include the curry and all we got was rice and chicken. This time they forgot to care and made the most sad looking burger I’ve seen. Very disappointing. The one in spring mountain is still good, just don’t go to this one.

As an east coaster, I 'm learning how dearly loved L&L Hawaiian Barbecue is on the West. I 've dined taken out from here a handful of times now and I can easily say that you can 't go wrong ordering from here. The food here is inexpensive and comes plentiful. It also comes quick if you 're in a pinch. Recently, I came here after a busy work day. I knew if I didn 't plan ahead before going home, I would be hangry. So, I ordered L&L and picked it up after my shift. When I picked it up, I was asked for my order and handed my food. I was super excited to dig into it once I got home. I ordered the loco moco as it was super easy and a no brainer. I 've never been to Hawaii and I didn 't know a lot of Hawaiian restaurants back on the east, so I like to try the more 'native ' dishes. The loco moco was pretty good, it was heaven since I was super hungry. Though in actuality, I wish there was more gravy on it and the rice was less of a mush. I 'm not sure if the rice had to do with it sitting in the to go box for a bit I did pick it up on time according to yelp 's pick up feature, but I 'm not sure of the actual timing of preparation, pick up etc. Nevertheless, I do love me a good L&L every once in a while. Can 't wait to explore the rest of the menu!

I ordered the regular chicken Katsu as was absolutely delighted. Good music and had a great solo lunch. Food was fast, helpings were generous. Great post workout meal ? ?Food: 5/5
