The service was outstanding. Everyone there was attentive to all guests, which is not something you typically see at restaurants. The meal felt like a home-cooked dish and tasted truly authentic. Some places use olive oil or feta, and it just doesn't have that homestyle flavor, but here it definitely does. I tried a type of rice that was new to me, and I didn't mind it at all. I ordered a salad, lentil soup, and the stuffed chicken gyro, which came with hummus and yogurt sauce on the side. I will definitely come back when I'm craving lentil soup! The pita bread was soft and tasted freshly made; I forgot to ask if it was made on-site. Next time, I’ll make sure to save room for dessert because I have a feeling it will be worth it!
The staff was excellent, and the food was tasty and full of flavor. However, I found the portions of the Moussaka and Pasticcio to be small—if this had been a Greek-owned diner, I believe they would have served double the amount, not counting the side of rice and Greek salad. As for the rice pudding, it wasn't to my taste; it was too loose and had an overpowering amount of cinnamon. At six dollars a serving, I feel I could have purchased two containers of Kozy Shack instead.
This restaurant was fantastic. The food was amazingly fresh and flavorful. The bathrooms were clean, and the entire atmosphere made me feel welcome during my first visit from another state! I highly recommend it.
The waiter was excellent—informative and friendly. The food was great! We happened to be nearby while running an errand and decided to have lunch here. If we find ourselves in the area again, we will definitely stop by!
