Pier 215 - Las Vegas

The third time there and eating was of poor quality. two of us have dense and ordered foods that we normally order. the quality was below the average and the dragon roll that I ate was very fishy when it is usually very fresh. will not go back

Reserved by ot. when we arrived, they said that they could not find our reservation from ot, but they would put us asap. we waited for about 15-20 minutes longer. we were finally ordered to sit within 5-10 minutes. within 20 minutes we received one of the articles. we waited for the rest for over 1 hour. Finally we have our last articles after another 15 minutes, which now the total time from ordering to the maintenance of our entire food 1:35. the articles did not seem to have taken so long to make / come. here was our order as it arrived: (20 min) tempura udon (1hr 20 min) octopus carpaccio Japanese snapper crudo yuzu lachs (1 std. 25 min.) lotus roll (1 std. 35 min.) kräulein reiswürze tuning roll all food is probed/cut out ok w/ the take off of: crispy rice spicy doa the spicy tuna mix was more of a paste than a finely sliced poke, as I had put on others. the paste was just ok. the rice portion was not crispy as it sat in a pool of sauce. the lotus pieces were cut so thin rolled loose that the fish fell out. at some point I left my table to talk to the manager in the service because I saw that they canceled my OT reservation (if I had eaten it, had just got our food.) I asked them why they canceled my reservation on ot because they first said that they could not find my reservation now that I eat it as canceled point, I will not get my OT. she said she didn't know that ot scores. (not sure why this would be important to them or not why a reservation already in the process) I told her that from this reason I booked the reservation there, I thought that she could not see my reservation (as mentioned when I checked in) she went back, marked my reservation as checked in. I had to watch her do it, wait to check that it was corrected on my app. I saw very incompatible in messaging.

This place was located in a strip mall right across a Korean bbq. The menu is semi eclectic with a bit of Italian fusion, but the sushi is excellent. The truffle fries were an odd placement on a sushi menu but I can't have it any other way now. I really liked having truffle fries with my sushi what a great combo. Will be making our way back whenever we are in town.

We made a reservation a couple of weeks ago because we had such a great experience last year. We were promptly seated and sat at the table for 15 minutes prior to any server acknowledging us. It was my wife’s birthday and she was really excited to eat here but unfortunately we had an experience that will probably make us skip eating here again. The quality of sushi and portions were what we recalled and we enjoyed the food but…..
