We had the fried chicken sandwich and the cuban. Both were tasty although the chicken was slightly overcooked. It took a while to get a server to take our order even though there weren’t many people in the restaurant. Once he did arrive, everything went smoothly and fairly quickly.Food: 5/5
Along the shoppes in the Venetian/ Palazzo hotels, we ate breakfast at the Sugarcane Restaurant. We ordered the breakfast platter which consisted of two eggs cooked to your liking, breakfast potatoes, sourdough toast, and a great deal of bacon. My sister-in-law loved the steak and eggs combo as well for breakfast. It was so good that we returned the next morning to eat brunch and split the breakfast platter meal, because I couldn’t eat all of the bacon served on the plate. With affordable prices and a relaxed atmosphere, the Sugarcane will definitely be a place we’ll return to in the future. You must give this restaurant a try on your next visit to Vegas. Besides breakfast, they did serve lunch and dinner. I’m certain all of the meals will be enjoyable on your next visit.
Server was good. Good was good. Overall, a bit loud and impersonal. But would go again!
Positive: staff was attentive and responsive, drinks were good, chicken wings and burger fantastic! Negative: sea food tower was just terrible, shrimp were slimy, lobster and crab legs were still frozen, worst seafood I have ever had. While the snacks and burgers were good, they were terrible at their core offering, raw seafood. It felt like they grabbed some sea food out of the freezer and put it on the table with no preparation. Maybe this was an aberration, but our experience was not good. Might return for a cocktail or burger, but never for seafood.
