We had a steak (viande Grillé cooked over hot coals that came with a jacket potato topped...with a yogurt chive dressing, ratatouille, bread basket a nice bottle of Saumur Champigny with a delicious cream brulee and cafe allongee. The food was great and the host Jo is beautiful. It's our place to go now.
Welcome to this cozy jewel of a restaurant. A selection on the menu, freshly cooked over an open fire. Jo was the perfect host. We enjoyed our plates. The history of the city
We came too late during lunch, but despite this one was prepared for us. Lunch was served buffet style and delicious. Good honest food and rice pudding for dessert was delicious. Hostess is a warm and beautiful lady.
Can thoroughly recommend the steak cooked over the open fire cooked to perfection and as is the French way a good vet would have had mine up and running. Desserts to die for. Service friendly and informal whilst remain efficient.
First evening meal, usual great welcome from Prop. And good to see restaurant being well supported, although 4 fellow Brits. Rather loud after visiting Victors bar..on their way to Le Mans weekend. Amusing to discover they thought I was a local and one in particular...didn't realise I understood all of his inebriated banter.. As always meat cooked to perfection on the open wood fire, lovely meal and wine good. Look forward to returning when ever am able to be nearby.
