Classic sandwiches nothing special, homemade brioche of the same good but not exceptional, with the difference therefore of the prices which are delirious surely due to the fact that it is the only bakery in the village and that it is necessary to make its figure which is in period summer so it remains understandable from this point of view. We ordered 10 sandwiches and as many pastries, we wanted to sit on the terrace, we were refused because we had not ordered what was needed to sit down. It would have been necessary to know what was eligible to have a chair but already the sandwiches seemed prohibitive. I asked for the toilets, also refused (because for customers, oh well) then finally allowed and there at each stage to reach the goal a small bell rang. I specify that it had started to rain, that only 2 tables were occupied out of a fortnight. The very aggressive boss literally threw us out. We took refuge on the terrace of the devil with thyme (near the ticket office) which welcomed us very kindly and served drinks despite our snacks.
Very good reception and a correct choice considering all the services offered by this establishment! We took ice cream (the house, which is more! and were able to taste them in a perfectly charming setting, in the shade of foliage, flowers and with a view of the river below. What a welcome moment after the visit of the castles of Lastours! I really recommend the Greek yoghurt ice, a real stomach blow. We also took brownies, delicious too!
The owner of the place is very pleasant helpful to the conversation of the beautiful words of the good advice on what to do in the region. the terrace is beautiful with beautiful flowers and an exceptional view of the last towers. I'm gonna have to wake up for a drink here.
