It is a peaceful and welcoming place to enjoy some delicious home-baked goods and the highly praised Ritual Coffee. If you are a coffee lover, you won't be disappointed. This café provides a calm and friendly atmosphere, unlike busy city cafes with noise and chaotic service. It is a hidden gem that shouldn't be missed.
Maggie's cafe in Launceston is a hidden gem with friendly volunteer staff, delicious and affordable food. Bill W's review perfectly describes the experience. The homemade soup was fantastic and satisfying on a cold winter day. If you visit Maggie's, consider donating to help feed the homeless. The cafe is typically open Monday to Thursday from 10am to 2.30pm, but it's best to double-check the hours.
A not for profit little café run by volunteers and I believe under the umbrella of the adjacent Pilgrim Church - don't worry, nobody trying to convert you or any hitting on the head with bibles :-) This is simply a quiet, safe and friendly little place to escape the world for a short while and try some lovely home baking and indulge in the magnificent and much loved Ritual Coffee - If you love coffee you will not be disappointed. This is not a crazy city cafe, with noise and chaos and queues and inconsistent service and even more inconsistent coffee - IT IS A MUST DO LITTLE GEM.
The Dinner Belle has friendly staff and offers delicious desserts for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
