Pasta Merchant - Launceston

Had dinner here yesterday with my family. Have to say that The Pasta Merchant serves really fresh and tasty pasta. My marinara with cream sauce was really tasty. My wife and daughter enjoyed their pastas too. It was so good we returned today for more. The place was also busy with walk in customers who packed. The locals are so lucky!

LOVE!!! Go here every time I'm in Launceston! I love Italian food and The Pasta Merchant is my favourite place to go for pasta!! Wish they were open in Hobart!!!

Excellent lasagne and the best gelato I've ever had!

This is a good option if you are looking for a cheap and cheerful dinner. It seems to be avery popular takeaway spot for locals but we opted to eat in. It's not fine dining the food is pre prepared and heated up in a microwave, but it was surprisingly good. The pasta was al dente and the sauces were tasty. We ordered a couple of pasta meals, a salad and a gelato and it came to about $20 per head very reasonable.

What a treat!!! We were looking to get some gelato and ended up here.... Fantastic gelato.... Hazelnut and mint was my fav combo.... The staff were so friendly... The the serving was almost the size of a meal
