Yummy Yummy Bbq Hot Pot Noodle House

Small portions for a relatively high price point. Dined here late December 2022 with a group of 5, whereby 3 of them were from Hong Kong (so know Chinese food well). Was the most disappointing meal we had in Tasmania.

Ordered the pan fried dumplings was greeted with 2 very sad looking dumplings, also order the chicken satay skewers these were the highlight of my meal. For the main I got the chicken satay hot pot, I'm unsure where the hot pot part come in, was more like a hot bowl. The chicken and veg was fine, but the rice was reheated and a day old and mushy. Wasn't a bad meal, but certainly wasn't good, also really expensive for what I got. Won't be coming back anytime soon

The food was either way too salty/ too much msg or too stale. All the food basically has the same ingredients, they only put different sauce and carbs (aka rice, noodles). They even gave me the wrong order and wont swap it back.

Worst chinese food ever. Paid $20 for prawn fried rice and got few baby prawns in the whole plate. The rice itself was not so Chinese in taste. No wonder the shop was empty when we entered. Photos of the baby prawns serving..

SXXT experience!! Worst management and operations I have ever seen. Ordered party catering a month in advance. What I got was being told to pay more for deilivery, or have our guests come over and pick up our own. But, that's fine. Food is packed with some paper bags?! and small plactic containers in 2 white plactic bags. We've agreed that each dish comes with a foil container and should be good enough for 20 ppls. Finally...Thanks. Bad news travels fast.
