Excitedly, our neighbor recommended that if ever we found ourselves looking for somewhere to eat, that it should be in Balinsasayaw. I know Balinsasayaw has long been a Tagaytay staple but I didn't really know what was good here. So, we ordered what Tagaytay what famous for: Bulalo. The soup was very tasty and the meat was very tender. Sadly, though, we weren't served with the marrow. My favorite was their Fresh Lumpia. For some reason it had this burnt, meaty taste that went well with the ubod and sauce, making it really unique. For our drinks, we had their Pineapple and Green Mango Shake which we could tell were both from fresh fruits. We, my mom especially, enjoyed our meal here in Balinsasayaw. Eating in and being served in our own nipa hut definitely elevated the dining experience.
Really good food and great ambience! Balinsasayaw serves traditional Tagaytay food . The place is made up of bahay kubos which serve as the dining areas and gives a more pinoy style vibe to the experience. The favorites for me were definitely the Pinakbet (a bit on the sweet side) and Nilasing na Hipon. All of the food we had we 're delicious though and had ample serving! You may think its hard to order since each diner is separated by kubo but they have provided a bell you can ring to call attention if you need anything. I think the idea is great and we definitely had good service when we were there! Price wise, some of the items are a bit pricey, others are just fair, and some others are a bargain. The place is pretty popular so best to arrive early. Suprisingly, parking wasn 't much of a problem even if it was crowded since there were helpers. I 'd recommend this place if you want to eat Tagaytay food, but be prepared for the travel time!
More affordable than other bulalohan options, yet the taste is still fantastic!
My favorite restaurant in Tagaytay! Their bulalo and sisig are absolutely delicious. We always find ourselves indulging in plenty of food when we visit. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating too. I will definitely keep coming back to this place. The more popular restaurants in the area are definitely overrated; this one is much better, if not the best!
We made a quick stop at Balinsasayaw for some bulalo. Although the place was quite crowded, we were able to find a table. Despite the busyness, the service was surprisingly quick. While the experience wasn't extraordinary, it was still a solid choice for enjoying a hot bowl of soup.
