We had a great time to watch the semifinals and the finals of the World Ice Hockey Championships. Cherry on the cake as Finland for the third time in history... and all teams were against Canada! The staff is friendly and helpful. My friend even has to book as tables for both days to have a good view of the TV. Good for drinks, but unfortunately I cannot recommend the food. The meat in my steak sandwich was bad, but the pommes.
The food is not cheap, but it would have been okay if it tasted good. It was NOT. We ordered a poutin that was completely unbeatable. The pommes were not crispy, flooded with the sauce that created a big ugly puddle. Even the sauce didn't taste good. We also ordered a sandwich. The meat inside was chewing and the bread brittle. We didn't finish any of the dishes I ordered, even if we were very hungry. Will never return there to eat and would certainly not recommend it to anyone. On the top it is an acceptable place to have a drink.
Bring your Kids, give them popcorn and have some decent conversations with your friends. Big windows that you can open.
Only my second visit, but both occasions very disappointed. While you acknowledge that this is a pub, the standard of your food is at best moderate. Regularly from their star shell, the pork ribs run them back to the challenge and... were unable to give a party of 5 more than 3 portions. We were too late on order, so forgive. A bottle of 50cl average wine from Aigle (available retail with CHF 8.50) makes the customer really know what you think of them. Needless to say, we will never return.
