So I decided to give them a try, although the price of three and a half dollars per cookie was a bit high. But hey, I thought it would be a unique experience. So I placed my order online and chose the pickup option because I 'm also from Laval. However, there was no address information, which started badly. Finally, a day passed, then two days, and still nothing. It wasn 't until four days later that I received an email asking if I could pick up my order on Friday at 5:30 p.m. I answered yes, but I was still waiting for the address. I still had no idea where my cookies came from. Fourteen hours later, I received the address by e-mail, along with instructions in bold letters asking me to arrive at the precise time and to notify them by e-mail as soon as I arrived, without ringing, and to wait for their instructions. I really felt like I was doing a cookie-style drug deal. I thought, What did I get myself into? Anyway, I emailed them as soon as I arrived, and they responded two minutes later saying I could pick up my box. So I got out of my car and walked up the stairs to their porch to find a small box on the floor with my name written on it. Great ! The box was very pretty. I never saw or interacted with a human during this entire experience. Now let 's talk about cookies. My favorites are definitely the Nutella ones. They are really, really delicious. The other cookies are also very good, but really very sweet. These aren 't the kind of cookies you can eat five in a row. One is enough for the evening. Will I order again? Maybe, but only for special occasions, to introduce these delicious cookies to dessert lovers at a party. But not for me if I just want to sweeten my mouth on a weeknight.I would also like to mention that I was never served in French, or even asked in which language I preferred to be addressed, despite the fact that we are in Quebec.
The Easter bunny's targeted ads got us to try @atelierbiscoui. It's kind of difficult to resist cream egg cookie cups tbh ?. But, as we discovered; all flavours were phenomenal. These big chunky, rich, delicious, not too sweet, cookie dough-like tasting little wonders were not easy to stop eating...We also loved the clever name. We say Oui to BiscOui!
Interesting concept... After seeing an advertisement, I looked at their website to see their location. Strangely, I can 't find any address. I clicked all the links, nothing. Look on Facebook, I see location in Laval but no address. Still, the shop is well rated with great reviews. I 'm looking at the price of a Valentine 's Day box: $43 for 12 cookies!!! In addition, they charge delivery costs including a minimum of $9 for memory. Possibility of picking up in store but with a little flexible schedule. In short, weird. I pay a little more attention to reviews (reviews). No doubt, they are written by family or friends (few reviews in French). You won 't have me as a client, sorry.
Reading the comments, I already suspected relatives and friends of having written them. Rare are the businesses with so much positivity. The price for the cookies leaves something to be desired, the delivery costs and the constraints for the collection also. They remained professional and accommodating, but for me, it's not worth the trip. Of the twelve, I threw away 11 cookies. They weren't bad, but too sweet and given the reviews and photos, I had high expectations. Personally, I much prefer cookies at Costco and Subway. Try them for your own opinion, but here needed a worthy commentary.
I wanted to try this company's cookies because I had seen an ad on Facebook. It is true that the price is still expensive especially when the cookies are delivered and I found that there are kinds whose taste was quite similar, but they are good overall. I froze the box. Therefore, when I had no desserts, I thawed 2 cookies that I put in the oven and that was it. I also find it good that there are new flavors that are added regularly to their site. I think it's worth trying the cookies to make up your own mind.
