Rancho La Candelaria Mexican Food And Oaxacan Food

I have been here a couple times in the past. I have gotten popusas and pozole here and they were great. Today I tried cheese enchiladas suizas but they were disappointing. The cheese seemed to curd and the flavor was not even a bit spicy. I also got some carne asada tacos for my daughter and she liked the tacos. The rice and beans were great. I did get a red and green salsa from the salsa bar and they were not spicy either just FYi. I might have just gotten the wrong thing today.

First time and very disappointed with the food. Was excited to find a place selling tlayudas and I got something that couldn't even find a name for it. Despite the fact that they have posted on theyre pictures a photo of a tlayuda, they made their very own non oaxaca stile tlayuda(a scrambled mix and fold like quesadilla) .Just very disappointing,unfortunately it's my first an last time to be there.

Food is always fresh and flavorful. The pupusas, quesabirria, and limeade cucumber agua are so good. Definitely a must try!

I lived by this place for years, and never ate here. I just never thought about it until I would see it??‍ The place caught on fire and they rebuilt very fast! I said to my wife... We gotta eat at this place and support the rebuild! I must say that I was disappointed at the fact we have never ate here and lived right by it for 5+ years??‍? All that money we wasted on filibertos??‍ This place has very great food! I'm from San Diego and our food is very authentic! This is the most authentic food of it's style and soooo good! I'm upset that it's not open every day. The staff cannot be beat in the hospitality area! ????

What a special place .The food was so good.The meat was marinated perfectly, and the portions and prices are great . Highly recommend everything was made fresh !Food: 5/5
