Bill's Downtown Grille - Lawrence

My husband and I absolutely love this restaurant. The service is outstanding and the food is really delicious!

I ordered a chili dog and a Chi-town dog, and both were delicious! The Chi-town dog was on par with any Chicago dog I've ever had. The French fries were perfectly salted, too. The staff was friendly and wore masks, which I appreciated. I'm definitely planning to return to try some more items. During my second visit today, I tried the Mexican dog and the Humdinger dog. The Mexican dog tasted exactly as I expected, but the Humdinger was an unusual combination of mayo, diced jalapeños, banana peppers, white cheese, and green olives. It was really good!

Every now and then, I crave a cheeseburger and fries. I live near Grand Junction, but Lawrence isn't too far to travel for the fresh and delicious food at Bill's Hot Dog Shack. I stumbled upon it this summer and have gone back several times since. So far, I haven’t been let down.

The food is excellent with a wide variety of options. The prices are quite reasonable, especially with the daily specials. The seating area is clean, and the service is very good.
