This restaurant is in a great location, just next to Market Basket, making it easy to grab food in one convenient trip. The place is well-equipped and always provides a delightful experience. Steve stands out with his friendly and engaging personality, making conversations enjoyable! The atmosphere here is truly welcoming. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Wine and Beer in Andover has changed ownership, and the new management isn't listed on Yelp (and they haven't changed the name). For this reason, I'm writing about the new place here, even though it shows as closed. I've been here six times since the new owners took over, and each time I felt like I was being cheated. When I bring wines to the counter, they charge at least one of them at $4 more than the marked price. If I'm not paying attention, they would handle it without my notice. I have to point this out constantly, and often they argue back. Today, one employee tried to calculate the price per liter, but it was the price per 750mL bottle instead. You can feel more taken advantage of. Initially, I thought these were just mistakes or issues with the transition, and I hoped it was just one cash register causing the problem. But it seems to be a pattern. Be careful with your wallets, everyone. I will be avoiding this former favorite from now on.

Fantastic selection for wine lovers like me! The customer service is outstanding as well. The staff really knows their stuff and are eager to provide recommendations. You won't be disappointed by their expertise and genuine effort to help you find a wine you'll enjoy.

This place is great. There is an amazing selection of wine, a solid inventory of beer and great staff. The coolers are equipped with the expected, Coors and Miller and Sam Adams and exceptionally well. If it is not on the shelves, there are two walkable coolers that flank both walls in the back, all filled with overstock selection. Just because it's not on the shelf doesn't mean it's not there. The fleet selection is perfect. There are a wide range of manufacturers and a range of prices that can be found equally for college children and pensioners. Damn, they're even clear again! In huge bottles! You could either waste or breathe fire with the stuff! I've never seen another place in the state wearing it. There is also a beer club dedicated to the unique bottles on the far wall. It is between the beer and the wine sections, on the back wall from the register. If you buy 10, you will get a free or discounter? I haven't filled it yet. Perfect place. Right for any price point and right on the bus line.

I came to this Wine and Beer at the Andovers in search of a specific wine I had sampled at a Massachusetts Wine Festival in Marshfield, MA and subsequently fell in love with. On the vineyard's website, it was listed as a retailer of the wine I was looking for. To my great happiness, they had it! Although I was looking specifically in the wine section, the store had great ambiance, the man behind the counter was very outgoing and helpful and from what I saw, the prices were great. They have a great selection of wines, including my beloved Plum Island Red line put out by Mill River Winery in Rowley. I will absolutely be back!
