Dominick's Little Italy - Lawrenceville

This review is about their takeout service. We ordered chicken carbonara and baked ziti and picked it up, so we expected the food to be warm rather than hot, which is fine. However, once we got home, we found the chicken carbonara to be cold—actually refrigerator cold—and the chicken appeared and tasted undercooked and stale. After just one bite, we decided not to eat it. The baked ziti was somewhat better but still not great, and ultimately, we ended up throwing both dishes away. We were extremely disappointed, especially after hearing such positive reviews. I would not recommend this place to anyone, particularly because they served us nearly raw and uncooked chicken. I have had much better carbonara elsewhere and was hoping to add Dominick's to my list of favorites, but sadly, that won't be the case for me.

The food was truly something else—it sent me to the hospital for 7 weeks! However, the service was excellent, and the ambiance was enjoyable. I have to give the Alfredo a perfect 10/10!

I used to visit the Norcross location regularly, but when the Lawrenceville spot opened on the square, I had to give it a try. I wasn’t disappointed. The service was fantastic, and the location is excellent. Parking can be limited depending on the time and day, so make sure to plan ahead. I enjoy the dishes I can't make at home, and my kids especially love the spaghetti. Overall, it’s a great place for family-style dining. I particularly enjoyed the Stromboli, but I’m not sure if they run out of it by the time I arrive or if it's been discontinued. However, it’s always a memorable experience.

My favorite Italian restaurant in the area! Every time i come here food is fresh, hot, service is amazing. I even came one close to closer and they still sat us! The restaurant reminds me of eating in little Italy in NYC. Old school restaurant vibe with the white table cloths. Nostalgia ultra. I love Dominick's chicken the flavors melt together with the gorgonzola cheese. Also really appreciate the fact that you can order your side of pasta with a different sauce then your meal! Turns it up a notch.

Great service for our family of four for dinner. The restaurant is clean and inviting and the food was excellent with very fresh ingredients. We will definitely be back.
