My family and I have been dining at this Chinese restaurant since I was about five years old, which means we've been coming for 13 years and counting. From the moment you walk in, you’re free to sit wherever you like, with absolutely no wait. When I come with my family, we prefer to sit by the beautiful fish tank they have. However, I believe the primary reason my family keeps returning is indeed the outstanding service. The waitstaff and other employees radiate warmth and friendliness. I’m not just saying this because it’s part of their job; they genuinely care about how you like your food and whether you’re comfortable. You’ll never hear them complain or rush you, and they display a remarkable level of patience. They also ensure that you have everything you need and that your order is correct. Let me tell you, when you take a look at their menu, you’ll be surprised by the extensive selection they offer, especially for such a small restaurant. There’s something for everyone. They provide a wide range of wings, seafood, fried rice, and many other delicious options. If, by chance, you don’t see anything that suits your taste, the chefs are happy to prepare something specifically for you. For instance, when you place your order, you can add or remove ingredients from any dish, depending on your preference. Not only does the food look appetizing, but it also tastes fantastic. Plus, you won’t have to wait long for your meal to be served. One of the aspects I value most about this restaurant is how clean and pleasant the environment is. Every visit, I’m impressed by the lovely atmosphere. You can tell the staff works diligently to keep the place tidy at all times. Even the restrooms are always clean and well-maintained. I also appreciate that the restrooms are a reasonable size—not too large, but not too small either. I think all customers can appreciate how well-kept and organized the restaurant is. After all, who would want to dine in a place that isn't clean? In conclusion, these are the reasons I love visiting Mei Garden and why I recommend everyone check it out. Mei Garden offers some of the best service, with exceptionally friendly staff. It’s a wonderful Chinese restaurant with a fantastic variety of delicious dishes. Most importantly, Mei Garden provides a great atmosphere for everyone to enjoy. You will not be disappointed if you choose to dine here.

Mei Garden is located at the intersection of Lawrenceville Highway and Bethesda Church Road, in a strip mall that formerly housed a Publix and is now mostly vacant. It has quietly climbed the UrbanSpoon rankings, currently sitting at 10th place in Lawrenceville, primarily due to word-of-mouth recommendations.

My parents always order from here when I come over to their place, their sizzling rice soup and beef and broccoli is always our go to, accompanied by some egg rolls and it's always delicious

This is, without a doubt, the best Chinese restaurant I’ve ever been to! I’ve been coming here since I was a child, and I always order the Mongolian chicken with extra spicy sauce and extra less onions for lunch. I can’t get enough of it; it’s that good! I highly recommend this place to everyone.

One of the top Chinese spots in the area. I've been visiting here for years. Their Mongolian beef, General Tso chicken, vegetable fried rice, vegetable egg rolls, spicy tofu, and everything else I have tried has been phenomenal. I got my coworkers to order from here one day even though some were a bit hesitant due to Chinese being hit or miss. They loved it, and one of my coworkers now frequents this place at least twice a month. The customer service is always on point and they are extremely kind and helpful. Haven't been disappointed in 8+ years not even once. And that says a lot!
