Papa John's Pizza - Lawrenceville

The app wasn’t functioning properly, and I had trouble reaching customer service. I called the store and was on hold for 25 minutes before I decided to hang up. I placed my order with Marcos, but he forgot to remove the sauce, which was frustrating. Fortunately, when I called back, they answered in just 10 seconds and quickly resolved my issue.

So we ordered a pizza from here through their app. We tracked it and everything and it was done. However, when we arrived they couldn?t find our order. After a few minutes when finally found our order, but they had accidentally given our order to a DoorDash person, which the worker had said, and I quote, ?I didn?t understand her.? So that makes it okay for you to give away an order that wasn?t theirs? We don?t have issues with the food itself, just the customer service was awful and unprofessional. He asked if we could wait 10 minutes for our food and we said that?s fine. While making our pizza, he proceeded to talk to another employee about how our pizza and how it was a crazy order and it was weird. All the while, we were sitting inside waiting and hearing all of this. I?m not one to ask for my food to be comped but I would have thought, ?well, since they messed up and gave our order away, maybe they?ll give us one of our items free or just some free sauces.? Who knows? Nothing. Not only did we wait over 10 minutes, we had to hear about our weird order on our pizza while he was making it, and nothing. It was just very irritating.

I encountered an issue with the driver asking for a tip. I always make it a point to tip delivery drivers, but this was the first time one had directly requested a tip from me.

My experience at this restaurant has been somewhat mixed so far. The food is generally good, and I've ordered from here several times. I don't want to just give a blanket rating of 5 stars or 1 star. The staff is really friendly and often offers extra sauces, although they mentioned last time that they couldn't provide any. However, they have done so on previous visits. I once ordered a pizza, but it arrived smashed against the side of the box. I didn’t address it since I was already home, so I didn’t return it. I will continue to order from here, but it feels like a bit of a gamble—I have good experiences sometimes and not so great ones at other times.
