Teriyaki Box - Lawrenceville

I usually order delivery from this restaurant, and I can confidently say that the food is expertly prepared. I've never had a bad dish; everything is consistently plentiful and delicious. The appetizers are fantastic, and the desserts are delightful as well. You really can’t go wrong here. Give it a try!

We ordered the chicken grill boxes and the shrimp grill box, along with some Thai teas. The teas had just the right amount of sweetness, and the special sauce added great flavor to the chicken. However, the shrimp didn't really impress us. On the bright side, the veggie spring rolls were fantastic and generously filled. We'll definitely give it another try soon!

The miso soup was disappointing as well, and the Okano fries were downright disgusting. They were supposed to be stuffed, but they were just soggy, boiled potato-like things topped with a bit of teriyaki sauce. The only redeeming part of my meal was the sushi, which was acceptable. Overall, for $76, I expected much better and I won't be returning.

That was a very disappointing first impression. I don't know often, but I had to write about it. Positive because I have to give credit where credit is due: Okono Fries are pretty good. Service was good and people here are sweet. Cons: I paid $4.25 for thin piece of macha cheesecake. The Boba Smoothies didn't taste good. The golden rollers were fried too long. The grill boxes were very center of the street in the taste (Salmon and Tofu). Overall, my friend and I have paid between 22 28 dollars each, very confused about the whole experience.

I went for lunch with my husband yesterday, I got the chicken box with fried rice and my husband got salmon and shrimp with fried rice super delicious! But beyond the food? the service was fantastic. I think it may have been the owner helping us, but if he wasn?t the owner that employee took so much pride. Loved it! We will for sure be back.
