Kudo Steakhouse Sushi - Lawton

I chose this restaurant for my birthday celebration and it was excellent. The chef was new and a bit clumsy, but very entertaining. The food was amazing, with the four of us enjoying hibachi steak, shrimp, and scallops, as well as sushi rolls for appetizers. The mixed drinks were a bit pricey, but came in large glasses and were delicious. The restaurant is now called Kudo Japanese Steakhouse, but the menu and signage still had Cobe logos. They offer regular tables as well as hibachi tables, with waiting times for hibachi tables increasing after 6pm. We arrived on a Saturday at 5pm and were seated immediately, but by 6pm all tables were full. The waitress was fantastic and even brought me a complimentary birthday dessert, fried ice cream. Overall, a great place for special occasions.

This restaurant is no longer operating under its original name. It appears to be under new ownership. Upon entering the hibachi section of the restaurant, we were immediately greeted by a musty smell, reminiscent of neglected carpet. The lighting was poor and overall, the atmosphere was unappealing. I have dined at three other Japanese steak houses and this was by far the worst. The fried rice had an odd taste and the steak was overly salty. Even the sushi was subpar. It is definitely not worth the money. I'm surprised this place is still in business.

Very entertaining, our cook was fun and eating was amazing

I only went there because I could smell the food from the parking lot and was curious. The food was awesome! The chef Michael was the greatest hibachi entertainer I've ever had!

The chef Chris made our food taste so good we will come back for sure tell the rest of our family friends about this place. ?? YUMMY!!
