El Crustaceo kascarudo

I and my partner were very pleased to come here after reading all the amazing reviews, especially about seafood. First, it was positive that we could not book and get a table and the waiter was super friendly. We ordered a few drinks to start, a beer and a white wine. Unfortunately, the wine was not drinkable, it tasted like the bottle opened and was left open to go sour. Then we ordered the meat and seafood mixed grill. We are sorry to say that this was the worst meal we had since the visit of Holbox. The Lobsters and mussels were so overdue, the lobster should drop off from its shell, but we had to pay it out with great difficulty. The shells were so elevated that they were dry and cracked the shells. The cerviche floated in lime juice and sour. The sausage and steak were good and tasted good, but the chicken was also overhauled and dry. We were not checked back, but mentioned that we were unhappy when our plates were cleared, we hate complaining, but felt as it meant to be $950 mxn, which is expensive, we should say. The waiter took it well and apologized. But when we presented our bill, nothing was taken or done to compensate for the bad meal we had just had. We don't want to make too much money when we complain, but in retrospect maybe we should have, we don't feel that it was worth the money and are quite upset, we had to pay full price for something that was really bad. Unfortunately, it would not recommend. Hopefully we only caught them in a bad night, but we don't think we're worth the hype.

What a great little place for dinner! The whole food was excellent, the service was friendly and the entire experience was very comfortable and relaxed. They were kindly able to box things for us, as there was a lot of food and we back to our room.

That was one of the best dinners in Holbox. It's a bit out of town, out of the beaten path, so we were lucky to find it! The food is delicious, we had tuna tacos, incredible Guac and loved the hot avocado salad. Delicious Margarita too! The staff is beautiful and it has a very cozy feeling. I would repulse Moskito, apart from this amazing restaurant and good value.

Wonderful meal! Don’t miss this gem on a quiet side street! We loved the quiet vibe here, which was a nice break from the louder places along the busier street a few blocks away. The food was INCREDIBLE and so fresh! The best pico de gallo we’ve ever had, and we also tried the fish tacos, tuna steak, and pizza! Everything was delicious and artfully and beautifully presented. I had an amazing mango margarita that the bartender crafted beautifully, and our server Benjamin was so friendly and fast! The hostess even offered to take our picture in front of their beautiful mural. This is a wonderful place run by caring and talented staff! Don’t miss it!

We had pizza, which was fine. Good drinks. The pizza crust was thin and crisp. The sauce was minimal so I can't comment. There was too much cheese for my pleasure, but that's just my opinion. I liked the place a bit out of the way. The staff was excellent and service was excellent.
