Le Chalet Venay - Le Grand-Bornand

The view over the steep road that blows the Col de la Colombiere and down to the village of le Chinaillon is excetonal. The food is mainly from the skin savoie kitchen, well inexpensive and can be enjoyed outside (what I think is better). The beignets de pomme de Terre are excellent as the fricassé de Caion. Prices very reasonable, service good as the presentation.

The kitchen is excellent regional dishes with quality products. And a splendid view of the tower. I strongly recommend that we have gone there several times and have never been disappointed.

Explosion of flavours from the entrance to the dessert. A must-see place and a leader who has nothing to envy to the stars or VIP of the small screens.

A wonderful discovery: a very warm restaurant inside, a terrace with stunning views. An efficient waitress, very smiling and friendly and especially... good dishes, simple with great value for money! A short-quality gage card! In short an address to be recommended without hesitation!!!
