Excellent luch menu at 14 euros with prawns, sea bass and dessert plus wine> Well presented and cooked. Book as it got crowded quickly on Monday even out of season
Visited with my wife and 6 month old daughter. We waited for 15 minutes for a menu before I had to seek one out for myself. My wife ordered the Moules and they were good however I ordered the chicken salad €20) which was well below par. The chicken was basically a frozen chicken burger which wouldn’t be out of place in a fast food restaurant. Perhaps stick with the seafood if you visit this restaurant as ordering chicken in a seafood restaurant could be my mistake although this does seem to be one of their main dishes. The restaurant has photos of the food on the menu. The salad could not have been further from the photo. We also ordered still water €5) which was clearly tap water. Upon our return to the beach we will likely seek out an alternative.
On a day trip to Le Grau du Roi I was looking for somewhere for a bite for lunch with my kids (18, 16 8). This looked great, just overlooking the beach and was very busy. The waitresses were very friendly, some English spoken. If you like seafood soup then get it here but make sure you are hungry, it was massive! Stuffed with scallops, mussels and a couple of giant killer prawns, this was seriously a soup to die for. The kids had pizza and pasta which got the thumbs up. Desserts were also great, top marks from 8 for her chocolate mousse. Nice setting, great food, good service, reasonable price.
