Feedback gevenI normally dont follow internet reviews on restaurants. but, since it was the only restaurant open on my passage at le grau du roi, i decided to look it up. After my dinner with my friend I decided to write a review because we were very pleased with our dinner at this restaurant.first, the location. Right by the beach, even though it was at night and cold, we were sitting by the windows and you could see the beach, the bay and the stars. The restaurant was calm and had some nice music going on. the service was good, the server looked a little hurried but overall he was nice. However the most impressive aspect of the evening was the food. it is not a 'gastro' restaurant. but, the presentation was aestethically pretty and it was really good. My friend had the tuna tartare and I decided to try 'la rouille graulene'. it is a typical plate from the village which consists in a mix of potatoes and octopus with a aoili sauce. at the end of dinner we exchanged a few words with whom appeared to be the owner, he was extremely nice and welcoming. All in all, we were presently surprised and I hope I will return one day.I took the liberty to take pictures of the plates so my review has more credibility.
We went here on August 15th which was busy in the resort because there was going to be a fireworks display. There was a limited menu but we enjoyed our meals. The service was very fast and friendly.
You can park very close, and you are very close to the beach after lunch. Lovely breezy setting, some tables inside, some outside under umbrellas. Very friendly efficient service, but they overcharged us by 2 carafes of wine and a beer, so check your billwe had the 20 euro menu, excellent fish soup, gardianne and poulpe. I had mussels, not the freshest in the world, I wouldn't have that again. Children's menu the usual burger or fish, we had the burger and it was good. Pleasant pitchers of wine.We shall definitely go back
