We were not disappointed! The ambiance was warm and welcoming, not to mention the sun at that high altitude. The meal was outstanding. We enjoyed the local dishes, especially tte potato beignets and cheese plate.
The Plateau des Glieres is a great historical place and a nice day out for the family. There is a few local restaurants that serves local food and cheeses. Chez Constance is one of the better known and famous for their potato beignets et blueberry tart. The décor is lovely with stone and wood and look like a local alpage chalet. The menu is small and simple but tasty and good value for money. If the weather allows, eat on the terrace
Family-friendly place, indoor and outdoor seating, opportunity of a late lunch at least during the weekend. Menu is limited and a challenge for vegetarians, even the vegetable side dish included speck. Dessert was very good. Big tables. Lazy eaters can drive to the restaurant which is a pity as a walk/hike in the nature is very pleasant.
