This was our 4th or 5th visit here over the years. We are both vegetarian and had mentioned it in our booking. Unlike many other places this did not phase the staff or chef who took it in their stride. We were greeted fondly and the host confirmed us being vegetarian. No problems at all. The dining room is fresh and modern and has a 90s vibe. Service was excellent. We started with glasses of rosé champagne which was accompanied by the most delicious cheese tarts as an amuse bouche. We could have just eaten a plate of these all evening. We asked the staff to propose paired wines for the food by the glass. My partner only drinks white and rosé but I also drink red. Delicious wines were served with our food for each course. A butternut soup (more of a velvety velouté was served with homemade bread rolls and salted butter. More bread was provided and offered. The wines were served perfectly for each course despite there being only 2 servers and the restaurant full by this point. Our main course was ratatouille filled pasta which was delicious. The dessert was a light and perfectly made apricot soufflé with passion fruit ice cream on a crumb base. It was divinely decadent and celebratory. Obviously cooked by an excellent chef and confident kitchen brigade. Bravo. The bill was surprising that despite ordering wines to accompany our food and champagne the drinks bill was very reasonable and the overall bill less than we had anticipated. Bravo Village Suisse. How nice to find a classic french restaurant that caters so well for vegetarians and with such charming and graceful service. Our favourite place in Le touquet. We look forward to returning. Highly recommended.
The kitchen is refined, the products are ultra fresh, and the dishes are sought .... even if the portions are really very small. On the other hand, the service leaves it to be desired: wait, the servers do not look at their tables, not a nice word, not involved. What a shame!
Very good restaurant with a very beautiful map! eating on the terrace with a great setting think to book because the places are expensive! I recommend a very good address!
First the frame in the middle of the golden triangle, then the quality of the service with a mention for the boss always very nice. Then a freshness based kitchen and a very neat presentation. the st jean menu at 29€ has an incredible price ratio. the quality of the fish (in the evening a daurade net) with its small vegetables were beautiful. Given its deserved popularity, I advise to book the weekend in particular.
