This was a simple review to do! As a retired couple we don't eat often, but this occasion was our anniversary. We both ordered the senior-size steak with the usual spices. Our steaks were perfect, beautifully spiced and delicate. My spouse had two highballs (doubles) and I have a delicious Honey Brown Ale. We also ordered a pizza for our next snack. We both agreed that this was the best pizza we had so far! Don't overload with sauce! I expected the bill to be much higher, so I could have a generous tip, and deserve it. The service was warm and sincere. Never had to fluctuate after attention! Emillio 's is surprisingly roomy, with a warm European decor. A good place for families and large groups. There is a scenic sports lounge if you only fall for a drink and a meal. Very recommended.

I had one of the worst meals ever at this restaurant! My family couldn't even eat it and we ended up throwing it away, wasting $40. The atmosphere was not like a BBQ restaurant at all - it was sterile and bare with sad decor. The menu advertised smoked brisket, pork, and chicken but none of the meats we ordered seemed to be actually smoked. The sauce was generic and the meat was watery with a strange texture and taste. Service was incredibly slow and we even noticed Crock Pots in the kitchen. The lack of traditional BBQ sides like mac n' cheese, potato salad, or cornbread was disappointing. My husband, who is from the South, said this place wouldn't last long down there. The fact that they delete negative reviews and seem to have friends and family write positive ones is a red flag. The management completely ignored our bad experience and just cleared the negative review. Stay away from this place!

When I walked in, the ambiance immediately set a high standard. Like many barbecue restaurants, the key is to get the food while it's still hot. I've been to this place multiple times and have always been pleasantly surprised, even if the food wasn't freshly made. The sauces could use a little improvement as some taste like store-bought Bullseye. Overall, it's not bad and I would recommend it.

The food at this restaurant was terrible. I ordered the ribs and they tasted like spoiled pork. Additionally, there was a young child running around behind the counter, touching everything. This is a safety hazard for the child and needs to be addressed.

This is hands-down one of the worst meals I've ever had! We ended up throwing it in the garbage, and no one in my family could eat it. We wasted $40. When you walk into the place it smells sterile and not at all like a BBQ restaurant. It's very bare and the decor is sad. The plastic menu stated that meat was 'smoked brisket' and 'smoked pulled pork and chicken.' We ordered all of the supposed smoked meats only to discover that none of it was real BBQ! None of it was smoked! There was no smoke ring on it and the sauce was a generic, thick sauce (definitely not homemade). The meat was incredibly watery and had an odd texture and taste. Service was incredibly slow. We were the only ones in there and it took over half an hour to get our 3 meals. My husband poked his head into the back and noticed crock pots! THAT'S why the food was watery, tasteless, and had no smoke rings! Because it wasn't smoked! The side dishes offered are also bizarre for a BBQ joint (steamed vegetables and onion rings???). There was no mac n' cheese or potato salad or corn bread or any of the sides you identify with good BBQ places. My husband is American and said if this food was served down south that they'd go out of business in a few weeks. The fact that this place gets people to actually give them good reviews tells me that they must be recruiting friends or family to review them, as I honestly can't see how people could enjoy this food. By the way, they constantly patrol their reviews and delete anyone who gives them less than 5 stars! They just deleted my review on Facebook. Instead of acknowledging our awful experience and offering something to us to make up for our poor meal, they just ignored it and deleted the review. Terrible management.
