Joey's Restaurants - Leduc

Myself and my wife went last week for a fish and chips meal. It was good, service was quick, food was good, though the blackened basa could have used a little less spicy salt. They could stand to properly repair the ripped seat in the booth at the back instead of a using 6 strips of a different color duct tape. That really takes away from a decent restaurant.

These were the best fish and chips I have had. They were fresh and hot as well as tasteful. Would not hesitate to come back. Very friendly and we received nothing but good service.

Came here some time ago and reviewed now back in the frozen north on myVisit list. My partner had Joeys special 3 pieces of pollock, French fries and coleslaw - he ate every morsel. I had the three piece cod, French fries and coleslaw. Delicious as I remember. One minor comment the cod seemed a little watery as though deep fried before fully unfrozen. But the batter was wonderful. Offers take out too.

Best fast food restaurant in the Leduc area. Friendly and efficient staff. We get takeout from here three or four times a year. Food is always ready when we gt there and I love both the cod and the halibut.

The best fish(COD) and chips I've had since I lived in England. It was cooked in a light crisp batter - not greasy at all. My partner had the battered pollock which he said was great. Both served with a good coleslaw and fries. Only two wines offered one red, one white. NotGood but aSmall but reasonable list of beers. We will be back - note Tuesday's is all you can eat pollock or cod. Thursday's all you can eat fishTacos. We will definitely be back.
