Lakeside Grill - Leduc

Lunch was actually a ballroom that stands for the restaurant while they renovate. It doesn't bother me except that we're confused about eating somewhere or not. The special was cheap and tasty. My colleague had the package that was tasty and something more than the special, but I think I had the better deal. No complaints unless you like places packed with people. This place wasn't busy at all, maybe two other people.

We had dinner here and we were pleasantly surprised! We ordered an appetizer (nachos) and it was plentiful for 2. We had generous portions for our dinner selections. I wasn't able to finish my meal, so I had to take it to go. Our server...was amazing, service with a smile... it was on everything, our water glasses were never left empty. It's great to have someone who really loves their job because he's broadcasting!

First of all, reservations are required at this restaurant. We arrived at 11 AM and had to wait in line until 11:40. We were then required to pre-pay before being seated. The wait staff directed us to our table, which was assigned to table 40, but they had trouble finding it. The staff seemed disorganized and took a long time to locate the table. We had to pour our own water and get our own coffee from the buffet line, with no decaf option available. The food selection was extensive, but that seemed to be part of the problem. Unfortunately, the food was served cold, with all the hot entrees being chilled unless you ordered an omelette. Even the eggs benedict English muffins were rock hard and cold. The prime rib was being cut and placed in the omelette station's fry pan to keep it warm. It was clear that the restaurant had messed up this time, as many patrons were complaining about the cold food. The cleanliness of the dishes was also concerning, as a stack of freshly washed plates had food stuck to them but were left there anyway. Overall, the experience was disappointing and they lost at least five patrons that day.

Fairly good restaurant but can be a bit slow. Disappointing that ordered beet spinach salad, and waited 20 min. Then came back to say spinach no good. Should have said that right away. Then they brought main course while still eating salad. Too rushed. Excellent...steaks though

Loved the food and setup and view. Great food and good service. If you would definitely recommend staying at the Nisku Inn, you should check it out.
