Feedback gevenWe have eaten in many restaurants of all kinds in the run of the years, among them many of those who are the best in Australians. we thought the meal we had in andly was the best Chinese meal we had in the country, and one of the best meals of any kind. Premium ingredients, imaginative treatment, customized menu, great presentation; knowledgeable service in an intimate, qualitatiw high-quality venue. as this is not better known is a complete secret.
We celebrated the 50th birthday of my mannes in this restaurant last night. we have often eaten here and so we decided to book it for 14 of us. eating is stunning (Chinese tasting) and the restaurant is beautiful. the service was amazing and everyone really enjoyed the evening. Many thanks to olivia and the whole team that they make the celebration of my man so unforgettable.
What a great experience have enjoyed me and the hearts here our jubilee meal. we brought a few bottles of wine and then we spent the next two and a half hours in a nice relaxing environment delicious eating. they would highly recommend that we were very good. every cure explains when served and our glasses were never left empty. will be back with friends and family 100%!
Heard about this kitchen only in fleeting moments, an article here or there, there is no website, but there are directions. it felt all very 'fly by night', which only promoted me the level of the joy. they make a booking through another website (in my case it was the fork) or other socials and then they get the reference number and other details. they ask, like dietary requirements, preferences, flavors, etc. to confirm. the person I spoke (texting) was olivia and she spoke to chef andy. I wanted to have a 6-course tasting and the payment is made as soon as everything is confirmed before the participation. at any time olivia was polite and I was excited to the night before. that finding the place was an adventurous, not in the way of this wise, I go in the way further to elsewhere. the place is in an apartment block, but the decor is simple but elegant with Chinese furniture, bird boxes and vases to build a quiet but unmistakable oriental atmosphere. I loved the shrine offered at the end of the room with the screens, statue and small. there are also many books in the regals that like to have a more accurate look. I felt in peace when I was close to him. on one side of the room was the kitchen, with the chef, his two assistants and olivia running the floor. there were 13 other patrons, and I think there was only one other solo dinner in the night. the first cure was black garlic on black bread, salmon caviar and mais with truffles. the cool, creamy texture of the sweet, tied with the dill, complicated the salty tanga of the caviar and produced the dark earthy taste of the garlic. delicious! 2. curs: chicken soup with crispy noodles. olivia told me the story of how the chicken soup was made in ancient times to royalty. as soon as they reached the bottom of the bowl, the texture and taste deepened, how to be chicken-heavy and it supplemented the cauliflower and chicken meat found there. I also enjoyed the rice. 3. cursor: peking duck pfannkuchen with mango with the gurke and early swirl. I never had mango in peking duck pancakes, but now I have to add myself, there is a whole new beautiful taste. 4. cursor: piece of steamed fish I think could be served with greens and soy sauce. I found a bone they didn't seem too worried, and because I always looked for bones when I was eating fish, I wasn't. if they look at my pictures, they should not be on photo of this course. 5. curs: marinated lamb cutlets that contain some chili, but I had nothing to do with it. dessert was a strawberry mousse cake with ice and berries. divine. I'm very happy that I made the choice to visit. finally, how can they find mistakes with their own personalized revealing?
Even with choosing the cheapest version of this dining experience it was still not worth the money. Food was average and not memorable at all. I was able to see into the kitchen and noticed the microwave was used a lot which really put me...off. Will not be back.
