Great restaurant with good quality and tasty food. Staff is very friendly, especially one waitress. I go there very often and I cam recommend. Can't wait to go there again.
The staff welcomed us and asked if we wanted a glass of water which is a nice touch. We also ordered tea which was good. We had squid and salt an pepper ribs to start. Both very nice. The squid shone. Thicker cut and with a good salt and pepper flavour. Mains were tofu in chilli and prawns in black bean. The tofu was quite pokey and came in a huge serving. The prawns were juicy and sweet, not convinced about the sauce but pleasant. The fried rice was really good and a very generous portion for £2 the star was the soft fried noodles. Very tasty with a nice wok flavour. Really really good. 40 quid for 2 courses for 2 people. Not the cheapest but worth it.
When there with friends. The food was amazing and the place is lovely. Excellent Chinese dinning experience
Got taken here by a friend who is a Chinese Malaysian and he wanted to try this restaurant. The food seems very much geared towards a Chinese clientele with many dishes you wouldn't see at your typical takeaway. Therefore I let him chose the food and enjoyed what arrived on our table. I was quite surprised how big the portions were and asked for doggy bag at the end. Atmosphere was friendly and would definitely visit again.
