Ruchee - Leeds

I ordered the vindaloo, which was too tomatoey and dry. There was only one potato, whereas there should have been more. The lamb was good, but there wasn't enough of it. I should have trusted my instincts and gone with the majority of reviews. Management, please contact me for a refund as soon as possible. Thank you.

The food was greasy, the nan bread appeared store-bought, and the spices did not taste fresh. I would not recommend this restaurant as it is not worth the money.

We decided to treat ourselves to a meal from Ruchee during the pandemic, and we were not disappointed. The starters came with a side salad and lemon. We both ordered baltics, which were delicious. We will definitely be ordering from here again. Thank you.

We havent been to Ruchee for quite a while, we decided to try it again on Saturday evening and were so glad that we did. The food was lovely, the sheesh kebabs were delicious, i asked for them doing a bit spicier and we loved...them. My garlic chilli chicken balti was spot on as was my husbands newab bangala curry dish. The naan was cooked really well too. We will be returning.

We regularly order from here, the last three or four times there has been something missing from the order each and every time!! In fairness though, after calling them they have delivered missing items but it seems to be becoming the norm??? Tonight’s escapade resulted...in the rice not been delivered. I ordered the lamb rogan josh listed as medium I’m not one for exaggerating but it was the blandest curry I’ve ever tasted. It was completely devoid of any spice at all and was swimming in oil! I Contacted them and explained it was pretty much a tomato stew, bland, no spice at all and swimming in oil, to be told..... rogan josh is a tomato stew and doesn’t have any spice, so what did I expect??? I appreciate that mistakes can sometimes happen but the attitude and customer service was absolutely shocking! Well done Ruchee, you won’t be receiving any further custom from me.
