Seventy One Cafe - Leeds

We visited this restaurant on a beautiful sunny day and decided to sit outside, although it was quite warm towards the back of the establishment. All of us ordered one of the breakfast options and were very satisfied with the typical British breakfast dishes prepared well. The serving staff was also fantastic, attentive and eager to please. We will definitely be returning, after we have burned off the calories from our meal!

I went to this restaurant for lunch and enjoyed a delicious burger (the American) and BLT. It was great value for the price, and I highly recommend stopping by for a meal!

I have visited this restaurant a few times in recent years and unfortunately, it seems to have declined in quality. Upon entering, I noticed that many tables were left with uncleared plates, which is never a good sign. The food was not up to par either. My feta and pepper sandwich had an odd taste and was accompanied by a lackluster side salad. Another diner's BLT had eggs on it, which was not mentioned on the menu, and also came with a bland side salad. To make matters worse, there was a hair found in the food. We also did not receive the portion of chips we had ordered, which was a mistake that we brought to the attention of the staff. Despite this, the chips took an additional 15 minutes to arrive, by which time we had already finished our sandwiches and lost our appetites due to the poor quality of the food. When I asked for the chips to be comped due to not being able to eat them (through no fault of our own), the lady at the counter agreed, albeit reluctantly. However, another staff member (potentially a manager) rudely intervened and suggested we should still be charged for the chips, even though we were not. I explained that we had not expected the chips to come out so late, but her attitude was unprofessional and unacceptable. This poor display of customer service has ultimately led to us deciding not to return to this establishment.

Absolutely top notch food for fantastic price , the Cajun chicken burger with curly fries is to die for. Fantastic service as well , would definitely recommend.

Came here for a quick take out breakfast I wish I had just cooked it at home , bacon not well done at all even though I specifically asked for it to be well done , one sandwich didn't have hash browns in which I asked for , ended up having to take it back , I think maybe a lack of communication or maybe they just need a well done button on the till to get the order right .
